Al Baraka Bank Welcomes Zahid Fakey as New Chairman

Al Baraka Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Zahid Fakey as its new Chairman effective 1 March 2025. With a career spanning over 20 years in the auditing profession, Mr. Fakey brings extensive expertise in IT governance, risk management, and leadership. Mr. Fakey joined the Albaraka Board in 2019 and chaired the Audit Committee and the Risk & Capital Management Committee.
